The Righteous.
We live in a world without morals
Lawlessly
We float through the universe
Drunk on hubris and spite
We are as distant from divinity as it is to us
Merely an arm’s length
Yet we make it seem as if it were light years of separation
From our first steps in Eden, we have always been led astray
Be it by the snake or our own doing, we have been condemned to this fate
Our fruit of Life resigned for one of Knowledge
That moment is what has defined us
The human summary, if you will
Doubt, disobedience, selfishness
Did Father make us this way?
What is the pathology of our misguidedness?
Is it intrinsic or learned?
I do not believe there is an answer to be found
It could exist, but it very well may be buried with Him
And She who remains sees no benefit in analyzing the actions of a dead God
And without Him, what is to become of His commandments?
What does She say of them?
Grace has priveledged me with an answer this time
But you should know it already:
There are no commandments
No firmament to base all humanness upon
You may kill, enslave, and adulter as you please
Why?
If you must ask, first address another question:
Do you believe God must give us instructions because we are clueless without them?
Or because you believe She is benevolent to our need for guidance?
Or something else entirely?
Did you really need a deity to tell you not to kill to do as such?
Can you not think for yourself?
Even in His astounding cruelty, Father carried more compassion than She ever has
Indifference is in Her core,
Simply persisting, unintrested in benevolence and our search for moral order
Our ability to fend for ourselves is enabled by Her indifference
A trait that has outlived even the Creator
And most of us can feel it in the silence the arm’s length distance maintains
Our reality is a two way mirror, and we know She is watching
However silently
Yet, She still speaks
In Dreamscape you may hear God move Her tongue
She will tell you wordless psalms
That can never be heard again
But if you are there
If you are faithful enough
The words will be a lecture to the soul
So tell me,
Is it better to know the righteous way, whatever it may be, through bygone holy laws?
Or to hearken Her tongue as she offers an unprecedented sermon, made to be heard by your intuition alone?
The choice, and its consequences
Will invariably be yours
As it is, as it has always been.
