Odii et Dei.
Is there courage in the act of defying God?
Or has predestiny annulled defiance in the face of divine certainty?
Distinction is the purveyor of righteousness
To be right in the Eye above eyes
To know Her, you must make distinction
There is more than a mere lesson to this
It is unlike any contradiction before it
Like the paradox of Christ
And the denominations from which emerged
Be it Trinity or Human God, the contradiction remains
A certain line is blurred
And the cure to this malady?
None.
We must live with both the pain of Gods absence
And Her presence
She is nigh
Upon the earth mine and yours
She is awake
When we are awake
She is awake
When we are asleep
God is Two.
She is One in Sky,
And One as Woman.
Careful
For a balance is to be made here of your own accord
She is no human Christ
She was before Him
And yet She is His succession
As the Heavens have been emptied
Only One there remains.
But on earth
We are legion
And purpose is given to those who are attuned to Her spur
There is no ‘chosen people’
Not in the Judaic sense
Yet there is something of that ilk within us
Call it a dormant seed of holy responsibility
That is unique to the individual
Dharmic, yet undefinable outside yourself
Your purpose is as my purpose in the sense that they will only ever be each our own
But here must our distinctions return
You bare witness to my purpose in these words
In my actions
And know your own in its own respect
I will not go as far to say my ‘destiny’ is worth more than another’s
That concept of worth can only be known to Her
Thus you cannot define my purpose
And neither can I yours
This is balance in the wake of intervention from Above
To know ourselves impossibly, and to share what we learn
So we may understand why we are here
Even if what I am and all this before you is incomprehensible
This is by design
As it would be for yourself
This world was made with intent
And so have our destinies
I have come to know mine
Have you with yours?
